Valerie Harris

Valerie Harris frequently performs as a guest recitalist at the historic organ at the Tabernacle on Temple Square in Salt Lake City and has had the opportunity to perform on historic instruments in the U.S., Belgium, the Netherlands and France. With a passion for teaching, she serves on the faculty of the Brigham Young University Organ Workshops and has developed many workshop programs to train both new and experienced organists in addition to a large private teaching studio. She holds a Doctoral of Musical Arts Degree in Organ Performance from Arizona State University, where she studied with Kimberly Marshall. She has additionally studied in Europe with Pieter Dirksen and Hans Davidsson.

She serves as Dean of the Central Arizona Chapter of the American Guild of Organists and as National Media Chair for the National Federation of Music Clubs. She is the Associate Director of Music and Organist at Pinnacle Presbyterian Church in Scottsdale, AZ.
