Elena Udras

Elena Udras, organist, graduated from the Odessa State Conservatory of A. V. Nezhdanova, in the class of professor A. B. Zelinsky. Winner of the international competitions and festivals, she is active throughout Europe as a concert organist, touring in many cities of Germany, Russia, Moldova, Spain and the Ukraine. She is the author of the organ works “Song of a Dolphin”, “Road”, “Over Mountain Tops”, Preludes, Fantasia, the Organ triptych, and also works for organ with soloists: “Sonnet” on the words of Baudelaire (for a soprano, a violoncello, a flute or a saxophone, and organ), “Prayer” (words E. Udras, for a soprano, a mezzo-soprano, two violoncellos and organ), “Repentance” (for a soprano, a mezzo-soprano, two violoncellos and organ), “Ave Maria” (for a mezzo-soprano, a violoncello and organ), “Sanctus” for chorus and organ, and also the author of music for the movie “Off side”. She is also the arranger of many organ transcriptions. Ms. Udras is the organist, choirmaster and musical director of the Odessa Reformed church, concertmaster of the Odessa National Musical Academy, and organist of the Lutheran Cathedral of Peter and Paul in Odessa. Since 2013 she has served as the artistic director of the Odessa international festival of organ music, “ODESSA MUSIC FEST”.
